OUR HISTORY
Toboso networks is formed in 2016 with a core team coming from the Broadcom Powerline Communications division in Barcelona. We were established in 2006 as Gigle Networks (HQ in Barcelona, Spain), and were acquired by Broadcom Corporation in 2010.
Main focus was the design and development of HomePlug Certified powerline SoCs used either standalone or connected with Wi-Fi to form hybrid solutions, as well as the reference boards design and the embedded firmware design and implementation. We designed 4 different HomePlugAV compliant SoCs, ranging from 200 Mbps to MIMO 2000 Mbps and sold by companies like Netgear, D-Link, TP-Link, Tenda and Zyxel everywhere in the world.
Since its establishment, Toboso Networks has continued to focus on supporting Powerline Communications customers while also expanding its scope of action. This includes the development of products oriented to the detection and analysis of human motion, ranging from hardware design to sensor software, Bluetooth communications and data processing.
